Stone’s immense performance and strength — six times greater than that of concrete — makes it an ideal construction material, at a fraction of concrete or steel’s production and carbon cost. It also performs admirably as structure, substructure, fire-proofing, building-envelope and finished surface all at once.

When building stone is cut to size in the quarry and delivered to the construction site, building with stone becomes economical, even frugal. It is also infinitely lasting, infinitely recyclable, carbon zero, the most common material on earth, and requires little to no finishing.
